Harlingen Dentist - Bonnie De La Rosa Villarreal DDS - Harlingen, TX

Bonnie De La Rosa Villarreal DDS is a hometown girl whose love for dentistry stemmed at a young age. As a patient of Dr. Mackie's, she spent time in his office understanding the concepts of dentistry even before she went to dental school. She graduated with a bachelor's in biology from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 1995 and completed her doctorate of dental surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2001. Dr. Villarreal has completed hundreds of continuing education hours in higher studies at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida and the Seattle Institute. These institutes focus on comprehensive dental treatment and esthetics. After working closely with Dr. Mackie for many years, they became partners and formed Rio Vista Dentistry in 2006.

Dr. Bonnie D. Villarreal loves to spend time with her family.  She is married to Cris Villarreal CPA www.villarrealcpa.com  and they have two young children named Cristian and Olivia.

Dr. Bonnie enjoys to give back to her community. She serves on the Valley International Airport board, the City of Harlingen Parks and Recreation board, the Harlingen Junior League board, and is the dental director for the Guadalupe Health Center in Harlingen.  She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry www.AAGD.ORG, American Dental Association www.ADA.org , Texas Dental Association and Rio Grande Valley Dental Society.
